WWF’s Earth Hour is one of the world’s largest movements for our planet. Millions of people around the world switch off their lights to show they care about the future of our planet – our shared home.
Joining Earth Hour’s switch off reminds us that even small actions can make a big difference. Everyone has a part to play in caring about our environment. And it all starts with a single switch.
Get involved by switching off your lights for one hour at 8.30pm on Saturday 27 March 2021. Find out more about Earth Hour here.
WWF has also put together this handy inspirational guide for other activities you could try at home including calculating your carbon footprint, an evening nature walk or gazing at the stars during the big switch off.
For schools, there is a fantastic resource pack available here including Earth Hour certificates. You could be in with the chance to win one of three WWF adoption packs for the class!
