The Thames Basin Heaths Partnership is asking for everyone’s help this season.
If you’re visiting the heaths from 1 March 2022, please keep to main paths and keep dogs out of low-growing vegetation, like heather, gorse and grass. This will help protect the rare birds that nest on the ground.

The Thames Basin Heaths Partnership comprises local councils, land managers and nature conservation bodies working together to conserve the heathland of the Thames Basin Heaths Special Protection Area across Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire.
