This Saturday is Random Acts of Kindness Day! Why not show the environment you care!
Here are some inspiring actions you could take to support people and wildlife this Random Acts of Kindness day:
- Take a nature snack! Give yourself a break by going for a walk in the park or one of the borough’s green spaces. Walking outside is great for our health and wellbeing.
- Volunteer for a local environmental group. Woking Environment Action is looking for new recruits – check out their website for more information.
- Go for a litter pick in your neighbourhood – help keep your local environment tidy and protect wildlife from harmful rubbish.
- Give wildlife a helping hand – build a log pile in the garden creating a habitat haven for minibeasts; or make a bird feeder and see which species visit for a snack.
