Heath Week 25 – 31 July 2022

June 22, 2022

The Thames Basin Heaths Partnership is a local partnership of councils, land managers and nature conservation bodies conserving heathland.

Their Heath Week campaign brings together a whole series of events and activities to celebrate the importance of this protected habitat.

Now in its fifth year, Heath Week is a family-orientated, free of charge, celebratory week aimed at spreading the word about the county’s precious local heaths and encouraging responsible use. The programme of events will be packed full of arts and crafts, scavenger hunts, reptile and amphibian roadshows and much more.

From Hazeley Heath and Bramshill Plantation in the west, to Ockham and Wisley Commons in the east, Swinley Forest and Chobham Common in the north, to Caesar’s Camp, Long Valley and Ash Ranges in the south, The Thames Basin Heaths Special Protection Area spans over 20 miles of Surrey, Hampshire & Berkshire.

The Thames Basin Heaths Partnership would love you to join them in celebrating this fantastic landscape and help protect it for the future.
